From the devastating realities of environmental shifts to the resilient spirit of frontline communities, my photography focuses on documenting raw moments that inspire empathy and drive climate action.
Had the opportunity to facilitate a training workshop on Just Transition with young participants from different districts of Bangladesh.
As the world moves towards a greener and more sustainable future, it is essential to ensure that no one is left behind in the process. The workshop focused on the concept of Just Transition, highlighting the importance of climate justice, renewable energy, decent work, social protection, and the inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized communities in climate actions and decision-making processes.
Throughout the session, participants engaged in interactive discussions, group exercises, and knowledge-sharing activities to better understand the challenges and opportunities associated with climate change and sustainable development. The young leaders also explored how they can contribute to advancing climate justice and advocate for equitable solutions within their own communities.
It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm, ideas, and commitment of young people from diverse regions of the country. Their voices, leadership, and actions are crucial in building a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future for all.
